Life always comes in the form of choices..
Some good, some bad..not necessarily the truth, but from my own perspective. Then I tend to think why cant you get everything in life? SOmetimes i just wish we had a mixer where we can mix all the good traits of our choices...life would be perfect that way wouldn't it?
but it would also be boring. there would be no excitement in life..everything would be the same. coz you know the same characteristics would repeat everytime. probably, then i would be bored of those same things i once liked...
Funny how life is. Or, funny how funny I have made life..
I dont know with what reference are you posting this but here is what I'd like to share.
ReplyDeleteYes, life does change depending on the choices u make and every choice has some good points and some not-so-good ones. There are times when life forces us to think if we should change our perspective or to give up on the things we are looking for, which we think we need in life. If the good points in one of the choices is beyond your expectations one seems to compromise or try to think if one can compromise on the not-so-good ones. If compromising will only bring regret for rushing into things and forcing ourselves to make a choice, then its better to wait and let those choices go. But if the good points are so good that they overpower the not so good ones its been my experience that those not-so-good points are easier to deal with and seem to not bother much.
There have been times I've also wished if we could hand pick good things from several choices and make something ideal for ourselves :) instead of a mixer I used to imagine a jigsaw puzzle -putting pieces of differnt jigsaws and creating a picture perfect choice! LOL!
Life hasnt offered me exactly what I had in mind, those 'ideals' never appeared even as choices in reality and I am talking about many different things here, but whichever path I've taken and whatever choices I've made I never find myself regreting those, really. Whatever happens, happens for the best. In many cases patience really pays off.
Lastly, not everyone will like the choices u make in life, dont seek everyones approval. Since its ur life, if u think it is right and u can live with that choice, go for it!
